2008 Red Bull Soapbox Derby at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. A very trying day all around, as you can see from the first few photos, LOTS of people showed, the backups on the highway exits were very very long. I think they were expecting a few thousand people to show up and got a few times that. A lot of us walked up to the location from the car park at Bandimere Speedway, about 2.5 miles uphill all the way.
On location due to the huge crowd and very changable lighting from clouds and being in more of a small canyon you were sometimes likely to get more than a few seconds of the entrants going by. Not the most productive day, I have more photos but lots of them are repeats of the same entries going by.
